16th Biannual National Convention on Williams Syndrome

16 Biannual
National Convention
on Williams Syndrome

July 2 - July 5, 2014

Hyatt Regency-Orange County

Garden Grove, CA

"It Takes A Village".  We've all heard this popular phrase - perhaps too much.  But when it comes to raising an individual with the special challenges that are hallmarks of Willliams syndrome, it couldn't be more true.  It is with the help of medical and educational experts, the research community and parents of other children with similar challenges that we can truly make a positive difference in the lives of our children with Williams syndrome.

The national convention provides a forum for learning - from experts on the topics that are most important to us in the fields of education, medicine, transition, housing, and financial resources - and from other parents who have been there before us, and are walking the same path now.

The convention also provides an opportunity for parents to get a glimpse of "what’s next" through the 300+ children and adults with WS who will be in attendance, and for the individuals themselves to spend time with each other.  For both parents and individuals, the convention is often a place for developing friendships that will last a lifetime.
