DAY CAMP PROGRAM
The school-age day camp program is for children with WS & their siblings, ages 6 or 7 - 12 and their siblings
$175 (all days – includes transportation & lunch at camp)
The day camp program will take place at the Mission Viejo Christian Church Campus, in Mission Viejo, CA.
WSA Summer Camp Staff are creating the program along with special education professionals from the church. On site, the program will be co-led by a WSA and Mission Viejo Leadership team and volunteer counselors.
A typical day at camp will include chorus (provided by long-time WSA camps Choral team - Linda Lara & Jacquelyn Marston), arts & crafts, music, yoga, indoor games and outdoor recreation (including water activities such as slip & slides, sprinklers, etc., on July 4th). There will also be an off-site bowling trip on one of the days.
Campers will enjoy approximately 5 hours of camp programming each day.
• The bus ride to camp is approximately 30 minutes.
• “Kid friendly” lunch items such as mac & cheese, pizza, fish sticks, hot dogs & hamburgers will be provided each day. Special arrangements must be made prior to the beginning of camp, if your child requires special-diet items.
• There will be a nurse on-site at the camp at all times.
• Children electing to participate in the chorus will perform at the Closing Night Carnival Celebration.
*On Wednesday morning, parents can begin dropping off their child (children) at 8:30 AM.
