Long Island Festival of Races 2019

This is our 10th Anniversary year...Let's make it the best one yet!

Since 2010, TEAM WSA has been participating in the Long Island Festival of Races, with runners and walkers competing in everything from the mile walk, 5K, 10K up through the full marathon. Through those years, we have raised more than $300,000 for the Williams Syndrome Association.

Registration is open now for the Long Island Festival of Races and will close on April 5th.

Hope to see you all again this year!!! Even if you’re not walking or running, please feel free to join us for the festivities or make a donation. Race weekend is full of fun, positive energy and community for runners and spectators alike--the cheering and a great cause has a way of bringing families and friends together to bond!

Thank you for all of your support. We are making a difference in the lives of those affected by Williams syndrome.

We will see you in May! Details below.

Sincerely,

Details:

The event is the same time as all the other years. It takes place the first weekend in May (May 4th-5th) with the 1k and 5k on Saturday, May 5th, and the 10k, Half/Full marathons on Sunday, May 5th. There is a NEW course this year that starts and ends in EISENHOWER PARK! (https://runsignup.com/Race/LongIslandMarathon/Page-9)

ALL runners will receive a 10th Anniversary TEAM WSA Dri-fit Racing Shirt or Tank, and 2 spectator T-shirts (if you are fundraising). Women’s tanks run small, so it’s suggested to order one size up.
