In recognition of World Rare Disease Day, The Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University will be hosting this event, and will feature Amanda Gainza, Brendan LeMieux & Ben Monkaba, who have Williams syndrome as panelists/performers.
Growing up with a rare disorder poses unique challenges for people living with a disorder, their families, and their healthcare providers. On this day, we hope to engage our community in discussions about these challenges and how we can better support this growing population. The event will feature a musical performance, a brief didactic session, patient stories, and a panel discussion. Download the flyer below for more details.
