Transition is used to describe the movement between programs. Your child will transition for pre-school to kindergarten; primary school to middle/high school and high school to post-secondary and life-skills programs. The transition out of high school is very important. It sets the stage for an individual’s future as an adult, helping to ensure they have the best classes and educational program to prepare them for their goals for college, employment and independent living.
