Sarah Moonier is a high school human anatomy and physiology teacher and the mother of a little girl with Williams syndrome. She is also the author of the blog, Understanding Williams Syndrome. When her daughter was diagnosed, she was thankful that because of her background, she understood how the body worked, and could navigate through the condition and understand what the doctors were saying. The blog is her way of sharing her knowledge in a way parents can understand.
