Setting Sail on June 21 - 28, 2025!
Join us for 7 days as we sail the Caribbean on the brand new Norweigan Aqua! Departing from Orlando/Port Canaveral, we will be visiting 4 beautiful ports-of-call: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas.
A few important notes:

This trip is a Plus One trip - each individual must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperone (parent/caretaker, adult sibling, staff, etc). Your chaperone (and you) will be responsible for organizing travel, transportation, hotel booking, most activities while on the trip, oversight, etc. This trip will look more like a joint vacation with your WS family. There will be no exceptions for unaccompanied travelers.

Cruise 101: I'm Booked. Now What?
Now that you're booked and confirmed, it's time to start preparing to sail! This first meeting discussed the basics of things to consider moving forward (passports, hotels, airfare, etc). We also set out the schedules for future Zoom meetings regarding the cruise.
Cruise 102: Basics and First Timers
Here we go! This meeting was largely about booking excursions and what to pack. We will have a packing checklist available - but remember Sarah's words: you're going to want to overpack! Fight that urge! We also spent time going through the NCL app to discover how to book excursions when we dock and get reservations in some of the gajillion restaurants on the ship!
Cruise 201: Advanced Cruising
Time to start getting excited! Our group will be fortunate enough to be one of the first to sail on this brand new ship! Due to this, we needed to book and announce this trip early to lock in our rates and perks. Norweigan Cruise Line will also donate $100 per cabin booked to the WSA! See below for important details.

- The WSA will provide a lanyard, name tag, welcome reception, and one additional group gathering.
- Cruise First Certificates – Pay $150, get $300 certificate that can be applied to booking for the deposit. Must be done within 72 hours of booking the cabin. NOTE: Limit one certificate per cabin.
- You are responsible for transportation to and from Port Canaveral.

- You will also need this account for booking excursions, specialty dining reservations, checking in for your cruise, etc.
- Ensure the names on your booking form, NCL account, and passports all match.
- Have you completed the WSA Cruise Questionnaire? If not, or if you are having difficulties, contact Joel Liestman at jliestman@williams-syndrome.org
